How does the course work?
Our TDLR approved course is very easy to use. Simply read through each page and click the next button to move through the course. TDLR requires a timer to ensure you have spent the correct amount of time in the course.

Can I stop the course and come back later?
Yes, of course! The course can be started and stopped however you need it to. Simply logout and the system will remember where you left off.

Where do I get a username and password?
You will create your username and password during the registration process. Your first step is to add a course to your shopping cart and then you will be prompted to create a profile.

Can I register for a course without a username or password?
Unfortunately Not. In order to take a course, you need to have a username and password. When you register for courses, you will create a username and password for yourself. If you'd like to take a course:
  1. Decide which course you would like.
  2. Click on the "Purchase" button.
  3. Fill in your registration information and your billing information.
    • Your email address will be used as your username.
  4. Start your course!
Can I register and pay for another person?
Yes! During the registration process, you will create a profile for the other person and then change the billing information to whoever is paying. The registration will remain in the name of the person who has registered for the course. If you are interested in registering group of people, please contact us Here.

Why should I pay for Guaranteed 24-hour Reporting?
TDLR allows a continuing education provider 7 days to report the courses. While we try to report our students more quickly than that. If you need your course reported quickly, we now offer guarenteed reporting within 24 hours of completion for a small fee of $5.

Why should I pay for a Professionally Printed Certificate?
We now offer a professionaly printed certificate that is yours to hang within your work station to show your clients that you are up-to-date with the latest information. These certificates are typically mailed within 7 days.

How can I pay for the course?
You can pay for the course by credit card. If you are a corporate client that is signing up multiple students, you can set up a corporate billing account and be invoiced for your purchase at the end of each month. Again please contact our sales department at 512-814-6540.

How do my credits get reported to the state?
Your course credits will be automatically reported by TexasCosmetologyCe.com to TDLR. Once you have finished the course, make sure you renew your license with TDLR also.

How do I renew my license?
There are two steps to a license renewal. First, take the 4 hour renewal course with TexasCosmetologyCe.com and second, renew your license with TDLR. You can renew your license here.

When I complete the course, should I print a copy of my class certification?
As a general rule, we highly encourage all students to print their certification paperwork and retain that certification in a secure area.

I lost my certificate, how do I get another one?
You may log back in and print an additional certificate, if you are having difficulty you can call 512-814-6540.

How do I go back and reprint my certificate of course completion?
Go to www.cosmetologyceonline.com and log in using your username and password. Click on the certificate icon below the exam results.

I forgot my Username and Password. What do I do?
Click on the "forgot password" link below the student login. Then enter your email address. You should receive an email to your email address stating your password. If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact customer support Here.

What materials come with the cosmetology courses?
No printed materials come with any of the courses; all of the material is online.

I'm having a difficult time and I just want to talk to customer support, will someone pick up the phone?
Absolutely! Our customer support is based in Austin, Texas. We always try to pick up the phone by the second ring.
